Description of Camp Lockeslea
A retreat center in the metro area, Camp Lockeslea is conveniently located in the northwest Minneapolis metro area near Hwy 94/694 East on the Mississippi River. 17 acres of beautiful grounds include a nature trail, fire rings and picnic tables. Camp Lockeslea is an ideal overnight spot for local Girl Scout troops and those visiting from outside the Minneapolis area.
Heated lodge has:
- Upstairs: dorm room with 32 bunks, toilets and washbasins. Large kitchen with fireplace.
- Downstairs: open room with kitchen, showers and bathrooms. 15 mattresses for sleeping on the floor.
- Annex: three breakout rooms furnished with conference table and chairs for meetings.
NEW! All areas inside Camp Lockeslea now have wireless internet capability.
