Who can submit writing?
Any girl member (Daisy through Senior) in our Council!
How do I submit my writing?
First, get permission from your parent or guardian.
Then, just fill out our submit form and send!
What if I can't type/write yet?
You can submit a drawing instead of writing if needed. Make sure there is lots of bright color and not a lot of empty white space. Send your drawing to: Girl Scout Council of Greater Minneapolis, 5601 Brooklyn Boulevard, Brooklyn Center, MN 55429, Attention: Program Director. Be sure to include a note with your full name, Girl Scout age level, City, Zip Code, and troop number.
What is the deadline for submitting my writing/drawing?
Submissions must be received by the 15th of each month.
What happens after I submit my writing/drawing?
Staff/volunteers will decide whether your input will be placed on the website or not; usually the only reasons it would not be placed would be if we've received too many submissions or if it is offensive or not appropriate.
We might make changes to your writing if it is not the right length or if there are mistakes in your spelling or grammar.
Staff will only put your first name, Girl Scout age level, and city/town by your writing/drawing-no photos or last names will be used for your privacy and safety.
When will I see my writing/drawing?
If placed, it will appear the following month.
