My Top 10 Reasons to be a Girl Scout
  1. It's a great thing that teaches girls ages 5-17 how to organize.
  2. It gives girls an opportunity to learn about life and the world.
  3. I enjoy going to camp in the summer and without Girl Scouts I would never have so much fun.
  4. This is my fifth year.
  5. I've learned so much about planning, budgeting, teamwork, responsibility, time consuming.
  6. Yes, you work to get badges/patches, but it's fun and not too hard.
  7. I also got to do research on Denmark.
  8. And, for booth sales/cookie credits, I feel as if I've succeeded.
  9. I feel I'm a well-taught young adult.

"I went with my dad to a soccer clinic put on for Girl Scouts by the Gopher women athletes. It was fun to see a college campus and get to learn how to play soccer. The Gophers were really nice and helped all of us. There were girls like me there who never played soccer before and girls who had, but it didn't matter. We all learned a lot and had a great time.
